I want to make a game. I want to write a book series. I want to make a movie. I want to write an album. I want to travel the world on an ocean-going yacht. I want to sit on beaches and drink cocktails. I want to hike mountains and hang glide off their peaks. I want to see and be part of a revolution that ends empire forever and replaces it with a republic of love.

Seems like i need to pick one, because I can't do them all. I sure can't do them all at the same time. If I take them one at a time, maybe - just maybe - I can do a few.

And I want to hike the Pacific Coast Trail with my friend this summer, hike the shoulders of Mt. Hood and cross the Bridge of the Gods. I know my body might not be up to it and my ankle might not be able to handle it and preparing for it might mean no garden this summer and the gear is ungodly expensive, but goddammit I want to do it. So fuck it, I'm going to do it.

Like I said, the song comes on when I need it most. I really don't know if my body is up to it and I don't like how big a role preparing for it plays in my crowded life, but I owe it to myself to do the special things I want to do and see the wonders this world has, like Mt. Hood. So I'm gonna do it.
